1880 was a year that brought a lot of detailed changes to the CMC Club.
Serial nr 19087: The year starts with (yet again!) a new spring and a new roller brake. Also, the roller bearings changed a bit, now there's a circle of holes and a fixation screw through the crank. (compare 1879 model)
Serial nr 21737: , and the roller brake is changed for a vertical push brake, which still works by twisting the handlebars.
Serial nr 23019: Not even 1500 bicycles later, the front wheel brake gets its final form.
